FAQs About Our Wedding Bands in Bristol
Q. What is a collective?
A. A collective band, often called a "collective," is a unique musical ensemble where members come together for specific projects rather than being in a permanent lineup. This flexible approach allows musicians with different styles and backgrounds to collaborate for certain events or periods, making it incredibly versatile and unique.
Q. How much do your wedding bands cost?
A. Our bands are priced between £799 and £1499, with the cost varying based on factors such as your wedding date. For instance, popular dates, such as Saturdays in August, typically cost more, whereas less in-demand dates, like a Wednesday in November, are generally more affordable.
Q. Can we choose the band's live setlist?
A. Unfortunately, clients cannot choose the live setlist. With their extensive experience in performing at weddings and events, our musicians have a deep understanding of what works well to create the best possible atmosphere.
Q. How far in advance should we book?
A. To ensure availability, especially for popular dates, we highly recommend booking your wedding band as early as possible - ideally 12-18 months in advance. Early booking not only provides greater flexibility but also eliminates any last-minute stress or compromise.
Q. Do we need to provide anything on the day of the wedding?
A. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide food and soft drinks for the band members. While this is not a contractual requirement, it helps to ensure our musicians are well-nourished and energised for their performance. Additionally, each member will require a parking space as close to the venue as possible to facilitate easy access for unloading equipment.
Q. What’s the booking process?
A. Booking through us is straightforward! Just sign the contract and pay the management fee to secure your date. Five weeks before the event, we’ll get in touch to discuss all of the finer details and to request the final amount, which is due 28 days before your wedding. From there, you can relax and leave the rest to us.
